It is now official: the Klagenfurt beach rugby tournament, scheduled for the weekend of June 26–27, 2026, on the shores of Lake Wörthersee, has been cancelled. The decision, announced by the organizers of the “Beach Trophy,” comes after weeks of preparation and anticipation for one of the most awaited summer events in the European beach rugby scene.

Over the years, the event has established itself as one of the most popular beach rugby tournaments in Austria, attracting teams and fans from across Europe.
